About us: The Zurich Diabetes Society is the official representative of people with diabetes in the Canton of Zurich. Currently, over 3,400 members are involved in our organization. We are your contact for questions about diabetes and nutrition.

Our goals:

• Education of the public
• Support for family members
• Education of people with diabetes
• Promotion and restoration of independence
• Improvement of the quality of life

**Membership Together we are strong! Each member gives the society more weight in negotiations with authorities, agencies, health insurance companies, etc.

We also organize lectures, afternoon events, lunch meetings and conferences, to name but a few; we also arrange contact with self-help groups and organize an annual vacation camp for children and young people at an absolutely unbeatable price!
